Specialist nutrigenetic interpretation

Turn existing DNA data into actionable nutrition insights.

Your client already has the DNA. We help you understand what matters — in context, with evidence, and around the goals that matter to them.

✓No new DNA test required. We work with data your client already has.

Your clients already have the data. What they often don’t have is a useful interpretation.

More clients are arriving with raw DNA files, old nutrigenetic reports and consumer test results. What they need from you is not another long list of SNPs — it is clarity about which findings are relevant to their goals, phenotype and next conversation.

You should not have to spend hours researching individual variants, reconciling conflicting recommendations or deciding what deserves clinical attention.

That’s where we come in.Specialist interpretation, ready for your consultation.
01Raw DNA filesConsumer genotyping data in unfamiliar formats.
02Old reportsPages of findings without prioritisation.
03Conflicting adviceRecommendations that don’t agree with the phenotype.
04Too many variantsHundreds of signals, few clear decisions.

We don’t just interpret SNPs.
We interpret them around your client’s goals.

Each case begins with the question you are trying to answer — then moves through phenotype, pathways and evidence to identify what deserves priority. No isolated-variant theatre. No generic automated report.

From existing file to a clearer practitioner conversation.

Five structured steps keep the work focused, transparent and useful in practice.

01
↥

Submit existing genetic data

Upload raw genetic data or a genetic/nutrigenetic report. We assess supported files and platforms before analysis.

02
◎

Define the client’s priorities

Select up to three goals and share relevant phenotype, clinical and lifestyle information through a structured questionnaire.

03
⌁

Pathway-based analysis

Relevant phenotypes, biological pathways, genes and available variants are identified for the selected objectives.

04
◌

Review & evidence grading

Findings are reviewed for biological relevance, scientific support and genotype–phenotype concordance.

Receive your practitioner report

A structured report designed to support professional nutritional decision-making and your client conversation.

Not another automated DNA report.

The value is not in making the list longer. It is in making the next decision clearer.

Priority is a function of signal, phenotype and evidence — not genetics alone.ILLUSTRATIVE / NOT A REAL PATIENT

Genetics does not exist in isolation.

Genetic information is interpreted in context, rather than automatically converted into dietary recommendations.

Transparency includes showing where the science is strong, where it is limited, and when an interesting finding should not drive intervention decisions.

LEVEL ASTRONG

Replicated evidence, strong human data, meta-analyses or well-established associations.

LEVEL BMODERATE

Several supportive human studies, with meaningful limitations that remain.

LEVEL CEMERGING

Biologically plausible but preliminary, inconsistent or insufficiently replicated.

—NOT ACTIONABLE

Scientifically interesting, perhaps, but not suitable to drive an intervention.

Sometimes the most valuable interpretation is knowing which genetic findings not to overinterpret.

✓ Encounter clients with existing genetic tests

✓ Want to integrate nutrigenetics into practice

✓ Need more than an automated SNP report

✓ Want evidence-informed interpretation connected to phenotype

Already have a client in mind?

You do not automatically need another genetic test. If your client already has genetic data, we may be able to work with what they have.

Upload a sample or submit information about the platform used and we will assess compatibility before beginning the analysis.

Useful, careful, and clear about limits.

01

Genetic associations are not deterministic. Multifactorial traits depend on genetics, phenotype, lifestyle and environment.

02

No SNP should be interpreted in isolation. Findings are prioritised according to available evidence and context.

03

This is decision support and specialist interpretation — not standalone medical diagnosis or clinical genetic counselling.

Frequently asked questions.

Can I submit a 23andMe or AncestryDNA file?+

Potentially. We assess the specific file format and available data before beginning the analysis. Compatibility is not universal.

Do you require a new genetic test?+

No. The service is designed to begin with existing raw data or an existing genetic/nutrigenetic report whenever the available information is suitable.

What happens if the client only has a PDF report?+

Submit the report for an initial assessment. We can clarify what can and cannot be reinterpreted from a PDF before analysis begins.

How many health goals can I submit?+

Up to three primary goals per case, selected by the practitioner.

Can I use the report with my own clients?+

Yes. The report is designed as professional decision-support information for use within your own client relationship.

Do you prescribe the diet?+

No. We provide specialist interpretation and nutrition-related considerations. You remain responsible for the nutritional strategy and professional advice.

How long is the report?+

Approximately 10–15 pages depending on case complexity and the selected objectives.

What if the file does not contain the variants needed?+

We will explain what can be assessed, what cannot be concluded, and whether the available data is sufficient to proceed.

How do you grade scientific evidence?+

Findings are grouped into strong, moderate, emerging and not actionable based on human evidence, replication, biological relevance and genotype–phenotype concordance.

How are genetic data handled and protected?+

Secure handling of genetic data is a core part of the service. Detailed privacy, consent, processing and retention information will be provided before submission.

Can clinics request white-label reports?+

Volume pricing and white-label solutions will be available for clinics and professional practices. Contact us at dnareframe@outlook.com to discuss requirements.

Do you interpret disease-causing mutations or diagnostic medical genetics?+

No. The service focuses on nutrigenetic and complex-trait interpretation. It does not replace clinical genetic counselling, diagnostic medical genetics or medical diagnosis.
